Jessica is our fashion-forward TikToker with a keen eye for trends.

Jess has been a great addition to the social media team. She started out at Pink Soda as a Social Media Intern and seamlessly fit in with our work flow and culture. She is now our Junior Social Media Manager working on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin and Pinterest. We love her creative outlook and her cool, calm approach to her work. Jess is hugely passionate about digital marketing and always motivated to learn more.

TELL US ABOUT WHAT YOU DO?

I manage the social media elements of four of our amazing clients, namely Distinctive Spaces, DC Automotion, Tilespace, and Henry Fagan. This includes community management, content planning and scheduling, creative aspects such as designing mailers and content creation, and lots of other fun bits and bobs.

WHAT ABOUT YOUR WORK LIGHTS A FLAME WITHIN YOU?

I’ve always had an eye for aesthetics. I absolutely love putting together beautiful content and creating a cohesive feed that is easy on the eye. Content creation has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember and it is so rewarding to post the final product after a lot of planning and editing.

I also find human behavior extremely fascinating. The psychological aspect of marketing and the role it plays when consumers engage with content is something that really intrigues me.

WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS AS A DIGITAL MARKETER?

I want to have a lasting impact on the people that view my work, whether it be them remembering a funny tag line or an impactful message. I want to create iconic campaigns that challenge the normal way of thinking and that will be remembered for years to come (for the right reasons of course) so that I can some day look back and say “I did that.”

I think there is a lot of room for growth in the industry and I would like to push the boundaries of what is possible in digital marketing, and gather new skills and knowledge along the way.

WHAT DOES THE FUTURE OF SOCIAL MEDIA LOOK LIKE TO YOU?

I would like to see social media return to being a place where people can feel comfortable to post what feels genuine to them. At the moment, there is so much pressure for people to look and behave a certain way on social media platforms which takes away from the raw, genuine element of sharing what’s important to us. Social media is about connecting people. I would like to see the brands that I work with connect with their customers on a more personal level in an effortless (almost candid) way that stays true to their brand’s identity.
